ANAAKA is halal-certified by IIDC GmbH

All ANAAKA skincare and VOILEE haircare products are halal-certified by IIDC GmbH, an independent halal certification body. The certification is re-evaluated every year and covers our formulas, ingredients, suppliers and production site in Italy.

Standards

• GSO 2055-4: the Gulf standard for halal cosmetics and personal care products
• OIC/SMIIC: the halal standards of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation
• MS 2200-1: the Malaysian halal standard for cosmetics

What the certification checks

• Ingredients: no pork-derived ingredients, no ingredients from non-halal animal sources and no alcohol used as an intoxicant.
• Supply chain: every raw material must be traceable to a permissible source.
• Production: our products are made in Italy in an audited facility, with procedures that prevent cross-contamination.
• Annual audit: IIDC GmbH re-evaluates the certification every year. ANAAKA has been halal-certified since 2018.

Frequently asked questions

Are all ANAAKA products halal?

Yes, all ANAAKA skincare and VOILEE haircare products are halal-certified. Our beauty tools (Gua Sha roller and Cryo Tool) are accessories and are not part of the certification.

Are ANAAKA products alcohol-free?

ANAAKA products are free from drying alcohols and from alcohol used as an intoxicant.

Is ANAAKA vegan?

No. Selected formulas contain natural beeswax, so ANAAKA is not vegan. All products are cruelty-free and never tested on animals.

Where are the products made?

All ANAAKA products are made in Italy.
